Culinary arts classes at Kentlake selected to attend Food Services of America trade show

Kentlake was only one of three high school culinary arts programs encouraged to attend the show.

The Careers in Culinary Arts classes from Kentlake High School attended the Food Services of America trade show at the Seattle Convention Center on Oct. 9.

This year’s theme, One Fine Day, included decorations from the 1950’s era.

Kentlake was only one of three high school culinary arts programs encouraged to attend the show. The trade show is open by invitation to business and industry owners and personnel.

The students sampled food and beverage items from several vendors, interacted with sales personnel and researched the latest restaurant/hospitality industry equipment and trends.
