Cancer survivors led off the Covington-Maple Valley-Black Diamond Relay for Life event June 1 at Cedar Heights Middle School in Covington. The overnight event highlights the constant battle of those with cancer. There were 43 teams and 400 participants with more than $67,000 raised.
