Audition to be held for “Redeem Me in a River’s Dream” in Maple Valley

As part of Maple Valley’s first “Equinox One Act Festival,” March 20 — 23, auditions for "Redeem Me in A River’s Dream", will be held from noon-3 p.m. on Feb. 1.

As part of Maple Valley’s first “Equinox One Act Festival,” March 20 — 23, auditions for “Redeem Me in A River’s Dream”, will be held from noon-3 p.m. on Feb. 1. Auditions will be at Maple Valley Creative Arts Center.

A cold read from script will serve as the audition and a stipend will be available for the actors.

Auditions will be held for the parts of Joe: A male in his 20’s-30’s, Madame Adelaide: An African-American female in her 40’s or older, and Silus: An African-American male in his 30’s or older.

The One Act was written by local playwright, Margaret Landry. It will be co-produced by local playwright, Ed Corrigan and directed by Zachariah Robinson of www.playwrightstheatre.org.
