Social and Games, 9 a.m. to noon, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Join a game, catch up on the latest news, or relax with a good book in our library. We look forward to seeing you. Board and card games include pinochle, Mexican Train, cribbage, puzzles, and more. Wii Games include bowling, tennis, golf and boxing. Times may vary due to holiday and party schedule.

Not just for kids, the Game Room is also open at The Den Youth Center on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings for “experienced” players of pool, ping-pong, shuffleboard, foosball and more. Let’s show them how it’s done.

Bingo, 11 a.m. to noon, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays.

We take our Bingo seriously and you should, too. Games include Four Corners, Straight Bingo and Black-out. Winners every hour. Volunteer bingo callers are always welcome. Times may vary due to holiday and party schedule.

Registered Seniors with birthdays receive their lunch and play BINGO for free on the third Wednesday of each month.

Wii Bowling League, 10-11 a.m., Fridays.

Our own GMVCC Wii Bowling League will compete with other South Sound senior centers which began in February 2009. Practices will be held Friday mornings from 9:30 – 10:30 with matches scheduled ad lib.

It gives us great pleasure to announce our new lunch program featuring fresh ingredients prepared in our own kitchen. We invite you to help welcome our new cooks, Beth and Lorrie, and we encourage you to offer menu suggestions. We Cook with Care is our motto and our goal is to provide your favorite foods at an affordable price, $3 per person.

The Greater Maple Valley Community Center is pleased to partner with our next door neighbor Lake Wilderness Golf Course to bring 50-plus seniors a very special series of group golf lessons and lunch. Then we’ll cross the street to the Community Center for a delicious and mouth-watering, home-cooked lunch prepared by Beth & Lorrie, our talented and popular chefs .

Clubs are available for use at no extra charge. Space is limited, so sign-up early to reserve your space, cost is $45 per person.
