“Glitzy Girlfriends Spa Night” is its name, and the event will be just that, according to Girlfriends Unlimited and FBC Mothers of Preschoolers.

The two groups will present the three-hour, free event at 6 p.m. April 14 at Faith Baptist Church. Women 18 and older can be pampered with massages, mini-facials and foot-soaking.

They can also (along with girls younger than 18) receive a free haircut by donating their trimmings to Locks of Love, an organization that makes wigs for medical patients who lose heir own hair as a result of treatments.

While “Glitzy” will be free, donations will be welcome, organizers said.
