Musicians from the nonprofit music school, which was founded in Maple Valley by Dace Anderson in 2005, spent the warm months of the year playing at a variety of events and venues which could lead — and some cases already have — to other chances to play throughout the region.
Given that many high schools start the day by 7:30 a.m. and practices run from 3-5 p.m. with planning for games, matches or meets taking up additional time not to mention lesson planning, being a high school coach and teacher means long days.

There are times when I see another publication put out a story and I think, “Wow, that is such a great idea. Wish I thought of it.” Other times I see a great concept and decide it could be done better.
