Tahoma schools will remain closed Friday

The school district announced Thursday, schools would remain closed due to weather conditions.

The teens attended various workshops and learned how to effectively meet with legislators and lobby issues. The youth council were able to meet with representatives from the 47th district — Pat Sullivan, Mona Das and Debra Entenman.

Public comment period for asphalt plant extended

King County Council Member Reagan Dunn sent a letter to DPER requesting it be extended.
