Thank you to Maria Pettit and Tierre Somekawa for putting together the fundraiser to help make it possible for Trina Whitaker-Brazier to donate her kidney to Kodey Weir. Thank you to Poppa’s Pub for hosting the fundraiser and everyone that helped and donated auction items and money.

Editor’s Note: This is a thank you from Trina Whitaker-Brazier regarding a fundraising event that took place Jan. 17 at Poppa’s Pub in Kent. Whitaker-Brazier has donated a kidney to her nephew Kodey Weir, a Tahoma High junior. The money will be used to help Whitaker-Brazier while she recovers from the operation.
