Metropolitan King County Council – 1:30 p.m.

–Councilmembers will proclaim October 2015 Disability Awareness Month in King County.

Councilmembers are scheduled to discuss and possibly act on:

Transportation, Economy and Environment Committee – 1:30 p.m. ***Special meeting***

Committee members are scheduled to discuss and possibly recommend to the full council:

• An ordinance approving public transportation service changes for March 2016 that include countywide service changes and the extension of RapidRide C and D Lines funded by the city of Seattle through the transit service funding agreement with King County (Ordinance 2015-0349).

• An ordinance approving public transportation service changes to integrate with the Link light rail extension to Capitol Hill and the University of Washington (Ordinance 2015-0350).

The Committee will hear public testimony on both of the ordinances.

 

Regional Policy Committee – 3:00 p.m.

Committee members are scheduled to discuss and possibly recommend to the full council:

• An ordinance establishing the King County regional public safety answering point oversight committee (Ordinance 2015-0255).
