Incident of the Week

Aug. 5

• Fire: 22500 block of Southeast 283 Street. Fire-fighters were dispatched to a residential structure fire.  Upon arrival firefighters found a two story house with the second floor engulfed in fire. Crews made entry to attack the fire and conduct a search of the house for occupants. The two occupants that were home at the time made it safely, unfortunately two dogs did not. The fire was extinguished in approximately 30 minutes. The loss was estimated at $125,000. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
