Tahoma fell to undefeated Auburn Friday at home 28-7, but the Bears kept the game competitive through the first half.

The Bears were handed a challenging opponent for the team’s homecoming game. Tahoma played the Trojans even in the first frame and fell behind 14-7 at the half, but the game was within reach until the fourth quarter when time and Auburn’s backfield began wearing Tahoma’s defense down.

Niko Madison scored Tahoma’s touchdown in the first quarter.

Auburn’s Chris Young scored three rushing touchdowns and Alphonso Wade hit for the fourth touchdown, also on the ground.

The Trojans lead the South Puget Sound League 4A, North Division with a 7-0 record and Tahoma is in sixth with a 3-5 record.
