Glacier Park Elementary School will be building seven new vegetable garden beds as a part of Maple Valley’s Make a Difference Day on Oct. 22.
The work will be done by the school’s green team.
In addition, the school will also be conducting front landscaping and re-beautification planting.
Make A Difference Day is the nation’s largest day of community service.
The school is located at 23700 SE 280th St., Maple Valley.
Lake Wilderness Elementary and Rock Creek Elementary will be conducting landscaping projects as a part of Make a Difference Day, as well.
