Metropolitan King County Council – 11:00 a.m. ***Special Meeting***
· King County Executive Dow Constantine will present his 2015-2016 Executive Proposed Budget to the Council. The Council will recess after the Budget Address until 1:30 p.m.
–At 1:30 p.m., Councilmembers will hear public testimony during their monthly public comment period. Speakers will have two minutes to address Councilmembers on matters relating to county government.
Councilmembers are scheduled to discuss and possibly act on:
· An ordinance adopting public transportation service reductions in the February 2015 scheduled service change (Substitute Ordinance 2014-0382.2).
· An ordinance adopting the King County Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Plan 2014-2016 (Ordinance 2014-0373).
· An ordinance designating certain county shorelines as county maritime heritage area (Ordinance 2014-0359).
· A motion calling to strengthen the relationship between the Municipality of Kaohsiung and King County (Motion 2014-0390).
· A motion accepting the annual progress report on the implementation of the King County Veterans and Human Services Levy Service Improvement Plan (Motion 2014-0269).
