CAToberfest – A Celebration of Cats! is a family-friendly fundraising event benefiting South County Cats’ spay/neuter programs.
- Guest appearance from internet supercats Oskar & Klaus! The feline adventure duo will have copies of their new illustrated book on hand, Oskar & Klaus: The Search for Bigfoot.”
- Speakers include:
o Dr. Gene Mueller, Director – Regional Animal Services – King County – “The Impact of Spay and Neuter on the Shelter Population”
o Scott Fraser – The Humane Society for Seattle/King County – “Pet Guardian Program – Planning for your Pet’s Future”
o “Ask the Vet” with Dr. Reed
- Blue Bag Raffle – gift certificates and cat-themed gifts and merchandise, donated by local businesses and South County Cats’ supporters
- custom made Cat Condo raffle
- marketplace – affordable gifts and crafts, CAToberfest t-shirts
- tour Pasado’s Safe Haven’s Spay Station, a state-of-the-art mobile spay/neuter unit
- plush kitties and activities for kids

Free admission. A donation of canned cat food is appreciated.
South County Cats is an all-volunteer, local, non-profit organization. All proceeds benefit our spay/neuter programs in south King county and surrounding communities:
- Companion Cat Spay/Neuter Program for income qualified south King County residents at Pasado’s Spay Station and participating veterinary and spay/neuter clinics
- Trap-Neuter-Return of community cats
- Spay/neuter of foster cats and kittens prior to adoption
