Maple Valley beach house celebration

On Thursday, Aug. 9, the city of Maple Valley hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony at Lake Wilderness Park for their new beach house.

The ceremony started at 5:30 p.m. The beach house project was approved by the city council back in June 2017.

The new building features newly remodeled bathrooms, a lifeguard station, boat rental services and an expanded concessions area.An added feature that seemed to excited most of the women is the added bathroom stall to the women’s bathroom.

The new and improved beach house is now open to the public to use as they visit Lake Wilderness Park.
