Kent School District provides free lunches during summer break

Free, nutritious meals will be available for children and teens 18 years old and younger at select locations within the Kent School District this summer.

From Thursday, June 29, through Friday, August 25, lunches will be offered at schools, apartment complexes, city parks and other locations within attendance areas of district schools.

The dates meals will be offered vary by location and are based on planned educational or recreational activities. For a list of community locations, dates and serving times for meals, see the Summer Lunch flyer.

The Summer Lunch Program is a partnership between Kent School District Nutrition Services, Washington State Superintendent of Public Instruction, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Breakfast will also be served at several sites.
