Covington artist displays work at Edmonds art show

Covington resident, Cathy Simpson, is exhibiting her photography as part of the EDGE group show at the Edmonds Conference Center, 201 4th Ave North in Edmonds.

Simpson is fascinated by the natural world around us and endeavors to share her view of it through her camera. She likes to say she is a, “photographer of everyday natural mysteries,” concentrating on close-up detail that is often missed with a casual glance, and the form and beauty of our landscape.

The show includes Cathy’s colleagues from the EDGE program, a business-focused class for visual artists, and is hosted through Edmonds Community College. The show will run until June 13.
