Black Diamond Police Report Sept. 3-5

- UN-DESIGNATED DRIVER: 30200 block of 224th Avenue Southeast. Officers were dispatched to a verbal dispute at a business between two subjects. Upon arrival officers contacted the two subjects, who were ex-husband/ex-wife. The ex-husband advised his ex-wife had been drinking all day and was in no condition to drive, so he took her keys. The ex-wife felt she could drive. The ex-wife submitted to a voluntary portable breath test, which confirmed to her that she was over the legal limit. The ex-wife agreed to have her daughter come pick her up. Both parties agreed to separate for the night.
Sept. 5
- SPARE THE ROD: 31100 block of 3rd Avenue. Officers were dispatched to an assault call at a residence. Upon arrival officers made contact with all parties involved. Officers determined that a male and female subject, who were in a relationship, had been arguing over the discipline of their child. Through the injuries sustained by the male subject and witnesses, it was determined that the female subject had assaulted the male subject during this incident. The female subject was placed under arrest for domestic violence-assault charges and booked into Buckley Jail. The male subject refused medical aide and was provided domestic violence resource information.
- VANDALISM: 32000 Auburn-Black Diamond Road. Officers were dispatched to a vandalism call. The female caller advised as she was walking the trails in the area when she heard what she thought was a gun shot. The female caller advised when she returned to her vehicle a few minutes later she noticed the passenger side window had been shattered. Officers located a large rock inside the vehicle and the female caller advised nothing was missing. Officers checked the area for any persons and were unable to locate anyone.
