YWCA will celebrate grand opening of transitional housing facility, Passage Point, on July 7

The grand opening of the YWCA Passage Point is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 7.

The grand opening of the YWCA Passage Point, located between Renton and Maple Valley, is scheduled for  10:30 a.m., Monday, July 7.

YWCA Passage Point is a supportive residential community for single parents emerging from the corrections system.

Passage Point seeks to help residents reunite with their children in a stable environment and eventually become self-sufficient.

It has 46 housing units and comprehensive services.

Event attendees will have the opportunity to tour the campus and learn about ways to volunteer or support Passage Point.

Passage Point is located at 15900 227th Avenue S.E., Maple Valley.
