Crews will close Interstate 90 over Snoqualmie Pass three nights next week for rock blasting.
The Washington State Department of Transportation and contractor crews will close I-90 in both directions nightly from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, May 20 through Wednesday, May 22. Traffic will be stopped from the west side at Gold Creek (milepost 54) and from the east side at Price Creek (milepost 61). This work is weather dependent and subject to change.
On Sunday, May 19 crews will close only the westbound lanes near the Summit of Snoqualmie Pass (milepost 52) from 8 to 9 a.m. to remove debris near the roadway.
Drivers may also experience minor delays due to rolling slow downs and single lane closures Monday through Thursday in certain locations between Hyak (milepost 54) to Ellensburg (milepost 106), due to construction-related activities.
