The Maple Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra will present its final “come and see” concert of its 2009-2010 season on 7 p.m. Saturday, June 26 at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Maple Valley. There is a $5 suggested donation for this concert.

The concert, entitled “Patriotic Stand,” will feature favorite American patriotic music such as “Stars and Stripes” and “1812 Overture” as well as special performances by orchestra’s small ensemble groups.

“It’s been a great season. Ending it with upbeat music and a bang is fitting,” said Executive Director Elisa Lewis.

The orchestra will also be performing for Maple Valley’s fireworks celebration in Lake Wilderness Park on July 4.
