August 18-22, 2014

Room 1001, King County Courthouse, 516 Third Ave, Seattle, WA
Monday, August 18
King County Flood Control District Executive Committee – 9:30 a.m. ***Special meeting location*** The Committee will meet in the Southwest Conference Room, 12th Flr., King County Courthouse
Committee members will discuss and possibly send to the full Board of Supervisors:
- A resolution authorizing the expenditure of District funds for projects and activities in Water Resource Inventory Areas (WRIA) 7 (the King County portion), 8, 9, and 10 (the King County portion).
Metropolitan King County Council – 1:30 p.m.
Councilmembers are scheduled to discuss and possibly act on:
- An ordinance authorizing the execution of an interlocal agreement for public defense services between the County and city of Seattle (Substitute Ordinance 2014-0186.2)
- An ordinance authorizing the County Executive to execute a funding agreement by and among the King County flood Control Zone District. The contributing parties identified in the funding agreement and King County in order to provide funding for the implementation and completion of the countyline levee setback project (Ordinance 2014-0277).
- An ordinance authorizing the County Executive to execute interlocal agreements between King County and the cities in King County, the Port of Seattle, the University of Washington, Metro and Sound Transit for electronic fingerprint capture services (Substitute Ordinance 2014-0307.2)
- Motions confirming the appointment of members of the King County Office of Law Enforcement Oversight (OLEO) Citizens’ Committee on Independent Oversight (Substitute Motion 2014-0323.2, Motions 2014-0324, 0325, 0327, 0328, and 0329).
Tuesday, August 19
Budget and Fiscal Management Committee – 9:30 a.m. ***Special Meeting***
Committee members are scheduled to discuss and possibly recommend to the full council:
- An ordinance approving the sale of surplus Metro transit division property located in council district six (Ordinance 2014-0128).
- An ordinance providing a supplemental appropriation of $604,000 to the building repair and replacement fund and amending the 2014 Annual Budget Ordinance (Ordinance 2014-0279).
Briefing:
- County Fiscal Sustainability (Briefing No. 2014-B0132).
Transportation, Economy and Environment Committee – 1:30 p.m. ***Special Meeting Location*** The committee will meet at 21 Acres Center for Local Food and Sustainable Living, 13701 NE 171st Street, Woodinville
Committee members are scheduled to discuss and possibly recommend to the full council:
- An ordinance relating to the operation and maintenance of the Seattle Streetcar on behalf of the city of Seattle; adopting an amended and restated agreement between King County and the city of Seattle (Ordinance 2014-0216).
- An ordinance approving and adopting an update to the Rural Economic Strategies Plan (Ordinance 2013-0408).

King County Forecast Council – 10:00 a.m. ***Special meeting location*** The Council will meet in the Southwest Conference Room, 12th Flr., King County Courthouse
Councilmembers will discuss and possibly act on:
- A resolution adopting the final 2015 economic forecast for King County (Resolution No. KCFC2014-04)
