Kentwood
The Kentwood Conquerors advanced to the semifinal round of the 4A boys district tournament after winning its first two games.
Kentwood played Bellarmine Feb. 14 and won 67-59.
The Conks played its first game Feb. 12 beating Thomas Jefferson 77-35.
Kentwood faced league rival Kentridge, Thursday, at Puyallup High School.
Kentlake
The Kentlake Falcons boys basketball team played in the first round beating Stadium by one, 48-47 on Feb. 12.
With the win, the Falcons advanced to the second round where it faced Curtis on Saturday.
Kentlake lost 64-55.
The loss moved the Falcons to a loser out game against Spanaway Lake that was played Tuesday, Feb. 17. (Update on Kentlake)
Girls Basketball
Week one play also wrapped up on the girls side with the Kentlake Falcons advancing to the semifinals.
The Falcons played its first game Feb. 11 beating Puyallup 63-37.
Kentlake faced Olympia in the second round on Feb. 13 and won 61-48.
The Falcons played Todd Beamer in the semifinals on Wednesday, Feb. 18.
The Tahoma Bears girls basketball team opened up the districts tournament with a 45-43 loss to Olympia on Feb. 11.
The Bears played Puyallup next on Feb. 13 and won 57-51.
The win advanced Tahoma to play the Kentridge Chargers Monday where the Bears won 41-34.
Tahoma has advanced to a loser out game.
The Bears played Timberline on Wednesday, Feb. 18.
