According to Meg Andrews, media relations for CenturyLink, the theft occurred either late last night or early this morning at 26800 Southeast Green River Gorge Road, which directly south of Lake No. 12.

At this time, 911 services are not affected.

An investigation is impending by the King County Sheriff’s Office.

Andrews stated they expect to have the lines repaired by the end of the day.

Residents who see maintenance workers without proper equipment or uniforms, acting suspiciously or working at odd hours are asked to contact the police immediately.
