It was graduation night for the Community Emergency Response Team members at Maple Valley Fire and Life Safety Station 81 Thursday.
The class went through a disaster simulation drill, complete with simulated injuries and some very good acting.
The simulation was of a head-on accident with serious injures and fatalities.
The community members participated in the seven-week class to learn out disaster assessment skills and helps students gain confidence so they can react productively and responsibly during a disaster situation.
