Tahoma Junior High drama production to open Nov. 8

Tahoma Junior High’s production of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” adapted by Romulus Linney, will be performed for two weekends starting Nov. 8 at the Tahoma Middle School Theatre.

This family friendly classic play includes all the well-loved characters made famous in the Dickens novella first published in 1843.

The story tells of the bitter and miserly Ebenezer Scrooge’s ideological, ethical, and emotional transformation resulting from supernatural visits from Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come. This story is as popular today as when it was first published and is performed every year throughout the holiday season.

Performances: Nov. 8, 9, 15, and 16. Friday and Saturday evenings at 7 p.m. Saturday matinees at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5 at the door. Children under 5 are free. At the Tahoma Middle School historic Theatre, located at 24425 SE 216th St, Maple Valley.
