Fishing Derby to be held April 25-26 at Lake Wilderness

The Greater Maple Valley-Black Diamond, Maple Valley Rotary and city of Maple Valley are hosting the 12th annual Hooked on Fishing opening day trough fishing derby will be held April 25-26 at Lake Wilderness.

Registration for overnight tent camping at the park and derby ticket sales begin at 3 p.m. on April 25.

The evening activities will include train rides by Real Life Church and games sponsored by Fred Meyer as well as beach campfires.

The derby begins at 12:01 a.m. and ends at noon, with awards presented at 12:15 p.m.

Maple Valley Rotary will serve dinner from 5-9 p.m. on Friday night and breakfast until 11:30 a.m on Saturday.
