The Puyallup Fair showcases Kentwood High School floral design students

Thirty-five Kentwood students entered various corsages, boutonnieres, plants and floral arrangements in the Washington State Fair competition this year.

The Washington State Fair is a place for Kentwood Future Farmers of America students to showcase their skills.

Students from all over the state compete each year at the fair. Thirty-five Kentwood students entered various corsages, boutonnieres, plants and floral arrangements in the Washington State Fair competition this year. Overall, Kentwood took 40 first-place awards and 9 second-place awards.

Elizabeth Aldea and Christina Nguyen were awarded Best of Class for their corsage, and Marie Bakke was awarded Best of Class for her floral arrangement.
