This holiday season brought generous donations that provided the funds needed to purchase a pro-designed Volleyball set for the gym in Black Diamond.

The gym is located at 25511 Lawson Street and is owned by the Black Diamond Community Center.  Donations from the Lake Sawyer Community Club (a special thank you to Sheila Hoefig), the Enumclaw Lions Club, the Dave Ambur Family, David and Johna Thomson, and Elephant Car Wash owner Andrew Haney, totaled the $1,000.00 needed for the new gym equipment.

Tamie Deady, BDCC volunteer and manager of the sports programs for the Gym, hopes to have the equipment in place by mid-January.  Call the Black Diamond Community Center at 360-886-1011 for scheduling information.
