Two local blood drives next week

Blood drives for Puget Sound Blood Center, which supplies hospitals in King County and regionally, are scheduled for Oct. 22 in the Maple Valley and Covington-areas. The times and locations are:

• 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Tahoma High School.

• 1 to -7 p.m. at Cornerstone United Methodist Church, 20730 SE. 272nd St. in Covington.
