COVINGTON

Aug. 27

  • THROWING THE FIRST BRICK: 26800 block of 188th Avenue Southeast. Two men got into a fight. During the altercation one of the men hurled a brick through the other man’s bedroom window.

Aug. 24

  • NEED A TV BAD: 17400 block of Southeast 270th Place. The suspect, who had previously been trespassed from the store, took a television from Walmart then ran out the fire escape door.
  • OOPS! FORGOT SOMETHING: 17700 block of Southeast 272nd Street. A woman left her meth in the restroom at O’Reilly Auto Parts.

Aug. 23

  • HOW’D THAT GET THERE: 17000 block of Southeast 270th Place. A woman went to her car shortly after 5 p.m. and discovered a bullet hole in the vehicle. It was not clear how, when or where this had occurred.
  • PARTY!: 25700 block of 160th Avenue Southeast. The homeowner’s son entered the residence through the dog door then stole beer so he could throw a party.

Aug. 15

  • CAR PROWL: 19000 block of Southeast 269th Street. A man parked his car in his driveway and left it unlocked the evening of Aug. 14. Someone entered the car overnight and stole the stereo head unit from the dash.
  • DON’T COME BACK: A woman in her 50s who is a known shoplifter was seen by store employees in the business. Employees called the police and requested she be removed from the property and trespassed.

Aug. 14

  • CAUGHT STEALING: 17400 block of Southeast 270th Place. A shoplifting suspect was caught with $105.72 worth of products from Walmart.

Aug. 13

  • WANTED: 26300 block of Timberlane Way. After being pulled over it was discovered the man behind the wheel was driving with a suspended license and had a warrant out of Black Diamond Municipal Court.

 

MAPLE VALLEY

Aug. 28

  • RETURNED A LITTLE LIGHT: 26900 block of state Route 169. A man left his wallet at Starbucks in Four Corners. The wallet was turned in to a Starbucks employee by an unknown person. When the victim left his wallet there was $126 inside but when he picked it up there was $6.

Aug. 26

  • CAUGHT SMOKING: 21900 block of Southeast Wax Road. An 18-year-old man was caught with marijuana and a pipe at Take-A-Break Park. He was trespassed while the drugs and pipe were submitted for disposal.
  • DRUNK DRIVER: 24500 block of state Route 169. A driver was stopped for going 62 mph in a 45 mph zone. The motorist was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and was processed by the Washington State Patrol.

Aug. 25

  • CHECK FRAUD: 23900 Southeast Kent Kangley Road. After stealing checks from one victim, an unknown suspect purchased items from Johnson’s Home and Garden. The victim notified the store after discovering the checks had been stolen and used.

Aug. 24

  • THREATS: 23700 225 Way Southeast Suite. A client called his attorney and makes veiled threats about his ex-wife, her attorney and a parole officer.
  • BURGLARY: 23600 block of Witte Road Southeast. Someone used a knife to open a screen then entered the Village Inn restaurant when it was closed. Once inside the suspect took cash from the till.

Aug. 19

  • GOT MUSIC?: 21800 Southeast Wax Road. While visiting relatives the suspect stole his cousin’s iPod which was left near a computer.

Aug. 12

  • CHECK FRAUD: 24700 block of Southeast 276th Place. Someone stole a check from the victim’s mail box then washed the check and cashed it at a business.
