The annual Covington Days festival took place starting on Saturday, July 21 and ended on Sunday, July 22. The event has taken place in Covington since 1986, according to the city’s website. At the start of the weekend, there was a Covington Days parade that started at 10 a.m. After that, there were plenty of family-friendly activities. There was a petting zoo, carnival games, arts and crafts, on stage entertainment, inflatable toys and even a watermelon eating contest. There was never a boring moment during the festival.
