Love Your Park

In honor of Earth Day, Maple Valley hosted a “Love Your Park” clean up event Saturday, April 21 at Lake Wilderness Park and Take-a-Break Park. Volunteers from the area cleaned up trash, planted new plants and participated in other activities to help preserve the parks. James Hoge, a Maple Valley resident, pictured below, helped spread out fresh mulch and dirt at Lake Wilderness. Erica Dial from the Maple Valley Black Diamond Chamber of Commence also participated among others to help improve the parks. Photos by Kayse Angel
