Collision kills 22-year-old Covington man on SR 18

A 22-year-old man from Covington died Sunday morning in a one-vehicle collision on westbound state Route 18 near the Green River Bridge.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the victim was driving his motorcycle when he lost control of it and hit a guardrail.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

This case is under investigation. It is not known yet if drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.
