North Puget Sound League play began last week. Here are the results for Kentlake, Kentwood and Tahoma.

Kentlake 43,

Kentridge 0

Eddie Edwards caught a pair of touchdown passes and returned a punt 65 yards for another, leading the Falcons past the Chargers in an NPSL Cascade Division game last Friday.

Brandon Mortenson found Edwards from 3 and 20 yards out.

Trask Rogers, Brian Dye and Tony Heimann ran for TDs for Kentlake (1-0, 3-0).

Kentwood 41,

at Kennedy Catholic 40

The Conquerors (1-0, 1-2) stopped the Lancers’ two-point conversion attempt to hold on for the road win at Highline Stadium last Saturday.

At Tahoma 6, Mount Rainier 36

The Bears (0-1 0-3) scored its lone touchdown in the third quarter when junior quarterback Max Arend ran it in from 2-yards out. Tahoma attempted a two-point conversion pass that was stopped by Mount Rainier.
