Local golfers compete at PNW PGA junior championship

On May 30 and 31 the Pacific Northwest Professional Golfer’s Association held its’ junior championship at the Lake Spanaway Golf Course in Tacoma.

In the girls 16-18 years old group, Katelann Soth of Covington shot 81 the first day, 80 the second. She finished in 12th place with a total score of 161.

Colt Sherrell of Maple Valley in the boys 13-15 age group shot 74 the first day, 72 the second and finished the tourney in third place with a total of 146.
