Junior Thunderbirds earn bronze at nationals | Youth Hockey

Maple Valley resident and Tahoma High School student, Hunter Jenkins, and the Junior Thunderbirds earned bronze medal at the USA Hockey National Championship March 26-30 in Salt Lake City.

The T-Birds faced teams from Vermont, Texas, Georgia, Utah and Missouri.

“Their achievement is definitely the result of talent, hard work and team spirit — and we couldn’t be more proud of them,” Sno-King Hockey Director Doug Kirton said.
