Kentwood cheerleaders raise money for breast cancer awareness and research

The Kentwood Cheerleaders turned French Field pink at the annual Breast Cancer Awareness football game Oct. 9. Their weeklong fundraising effort brought in $2352.84 Susan G. Komen of Puget Sound.
The cheerleaders held a blitz of fundraising. They went door to door in neighborhoods throughout Covington, they sold spirit wear to the students during school, and collected donations the night of the football game.
