All subjects in the police blotter are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

 

ASSAULT

• A fourth-degree assault was reported at 11:13 a.m. on Feb. 12 on the 17800 block of SE 259 Street.

FRAUD

• A Covington woman reported her son was writing forged checks from her account at 2:27 p.m. on Feb. 19.

• A pharmacy tech at Safeway, 26916 Maple Valley-Black Diamond Road SE, reported a suspect attempted to use a forged prescription at 6:14 p.m. on Feb. 17.

• Unknown suspect reportedly using a credit card without permission at 7:49 a.m. on Feb. 17 on the 22400 block of SE 240 Street.

• An adult male reportedly forged checks that belong his parents at 7:19 p.m. on Feb. 13 on the 24800 block of 231 Avenue SE.

LARCENY

• A shoplifting arrest was made at Walmart, 17432 SE 270 Place, at 4:33 p.m. on Feb. 23 for an individual who allegedly stole $6.34 worth of merchandise.

• A vehicle was reported stolen from a private driveway on the 25800 block of 189 Ave. SE at 12:06 a.m. on Feb. 23.

• Multiple items reported stolen from Kohls, 17002 SE 270 Place, at 8:50 p.m. on Feb. 22.

• Vehicle reportedly broken into and items stolen at 9:24 p.m. on Feb. 21 at Foss Grocery, 16255 SE 256 Street.

• Items reported stolen from a truck located on the 21700 block of SE 262 Place at 9:50 a.m. on Feb. 21.

• A vehicle was reported stolen from a driveway on the 26300 block of 222 Ave. SE at 9:01 a.m. on Feb. 21.

• A residential burglary report involving a stolen computer, Sony PSP and jewelry at 11:45 p.m. on Feb. 19 from the 26700 block of 191 Place SE.

• Theft and return of two motorized shopping carts from Fred Meyers, 16735 SE 272 Street, reported at 8:03 p.m. on Feb. 19.

• Shoplifting and recovery reported at Kohls, 17002 SE 270 Place, at 4:37 p.m. on Feb. 19.

• A suspect was reportedly booked on a charge of third-degree theft for allegedly stealing clothes and an electric razor from Kohls, 17002 SE 270 Place, at 11:13 a.m. on Feb. 18 and nearly engaging in a vehicle pursuit.

• Items were reported stolen from a house on the 26500 block of 222 Avenue SE and pawned 7:17 p.m. on Feb. 17.

• A jacket was reported stolen from a home on the 21300 block of SE 271 Place at 1:01 p.m. on Feb. 15.

DRIVING

• A non-injury accident was reported in the Walmart parking lot, 17432 SE 270 Place, at 8:49 p.m. on Feb. 15.

VANDALISM

• Glass pane on an exterior door was reportedly damaged by rocks at 7:04 a.m. on Feb, 20 on the 24200 block of Witte Road SE.

• The Sprint Store, 26420 SR-169, No. L100, reported a shattered window at 2:50 a.m. on Feb. 18.

• Juveniles reportedly sprayed a fire extinguisher inside a boat at a public storage facility on 22000 block of SE Wax Road at 5:34 p.m. on Feb. 17.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

• An individual inside the fitness room of the Tahoma Athletic Club, 23836 222 Place SE, reported witnessing an unknown male committing indecent exposure in a car in the parking lot at 11:40 a.m. on Feb. 18.

RAPE

• Police were called to investigate an alleged attempted rape against a 13-year-old on the 26300 block of Timberlane Drive at 6:53 p.m. on Feb. 19.

DRUGS

• A drug-related arrest was made at 10:25 p.m. on Feb. 21 in a home on the 27000 block of 200 Avenue SE.

• An individual with a suspended license was found in possession of methamphetamine at 10:46 p.m. on Feb. 19 on the 19200 block of SE Wax Road.

DISTURBANCE

An intoxicated male was reportedly lying on the side of the road on the 18700 bock of Timberlane Way at 3:30 a.m. on Feb. 23.

• Report of a suspect allegedly threatening to burn an individual’s house down at 11:16 a.m. on Feb. 20 in the 22800 block of SE 282 Street.

• A disturbance that involved an estranged boyfriend who had multiple warrants was reported at 12:10 a.m. on Feb. 20 on the 17600 block of SE 267 Place.
