Briefing:
- Overview of Advisory Committee Report on proposed 2014 District budget.
Metropolitan King County Council – 1:30 p.m.
Councilmembers are scheduled to discuss and possibly act on:
• An ordinance authorizing an interlocal agreement with the city of Seattle to implement a regional program to transfer development rights from rural and resource lands in King County to the city of Seattle (Substitute Ordinance 2013-0305).
• A motion acknowledging receipt of a report containing a plan to establish a memorial in a public portion of the Courthouse; directing the Sheriff’s office to work with the Facilities Management Division (FMD) to submit an image fit to scale for the final design of the memorial for council approval prior to installation; and to work with FMD to install the memorial (Substitute Motion 2013-0367.2).

Transportation, Economy and Environment Committee – 9:30 a.m.
Committee members are scheduled to discuss and possibly recommend to the full council:
- A motion opposing the establishment of new coal terminals in Oregon and Washington and urging a comprehensive environmental review of the impacts of proposals for new terminals, including the associated transport and burning of coal (Motion 2013-0386).
