Tahoma’s Patricelli sets American record at Youth World Trials

Tahoma High’s Denham Patricelli won the javelin event at the Youth World Trials in St. Louis earlier this week, setting a new American record with a 700 gram javelin.

The throw was 67.49 meters (221.5 feet). Patricelli is a likely candidate for the World Team. He had Tommy John surgery last summer on his throwing elbow.
