Editor’s note: This was not an actual car accident, but a mock crash put on by Tahoma High.

A mock car crash was put on at Tahoma High on Friday, May 4.

The simulated accident featured officers from the Maple Valley Police Department and firefighters from the Maple Valley Fire and Life Safety and Kent Fire Authority.

Several Tahoma students acted as passengers or drivers in the vehicles.

The event was designed to show the outcome of an accident caused by drunk driving.
