A school lockdown drill was held at Tahoma Junior High in Maple Valley Sept. 28. The drill simulated two armed suspects entering the school premise and the response by law enforcement.

A number of Tahoma Junior High students were chosen to portray wounded or injured.

The drill was put on by the King County SWAT and Sheriff’s Office.

The drill started at 8:00 a.m., followed by a debriefing in the school library.
