MAPLE VALLEY

June 20

ACCIDENT: 27600 block of SE 208th Street. Maple Valley Fire & Life Safety and King County Paramedics responded to an off-road accident when a male motorcyclist crashed motorcycle. His friends called 9-1-1 and then proceeded to take him to the nearest fire station in Hobart. The patient reportedly lost consciousness.  Firefighters and paramedics met them at the station, treated the patient and then transported him to Tahoma Middle School, where he was airlifted to a local trauma center.

 

June 24

ACCIDENT: Highway 18 near at 244th Avenue Southeast. Paramedics and firefighters were dispatched to a single vehicle accident. Upon arrival they found a pick-up truck high-centered on the guardrail. The vehicle appeared to have been rear swiped by another vehicle, causing the pick-up truck driver to lose control, cross the median and come to rest on top of the guardrail. No one was reported injured.
