Wet weather marks opening of Maple Valley Farmers Market but it didn’t keep patrons away | Slide Show

Despite a wet morning, vendors and patrons made their way to the Maple Valley Farmers Market at Rock Creek Elementary, buying flowers, oversized donuts, tea and more on Saturday.

Those who braved the dreary weather were rewarded with entertainment by the Maple Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra as well as the products from the many vendors who are selling at the market this season.

Saturday marked the opening of the market’s third season.
