Youth baseball | Maple Valley select 10u team earns spot in world series

The Maple Valley Select 10U took the championship in the Lacey USSSA Combat Invite tournament the weekend of May 5 and qualified to compete in the USSSA World Series.

The final game against the South Sound Hurricanes went into extra innings and the team pulled off the win with a suicide squeeze play.

The team will be going to the Big League Dreams Parks in Chino Hills, Calif. July 25-July 31.

Maple Valley Select 10U has also qualified for the GSA World Series and the Triple Crown World Series.
