‘Guns and Hoses’ softball tournament features fun, food and fast action between the Maple Valley fire and police departments | Slide Show

The Maple Valley fire and police departments met on the ball field at Lake Wilderness Park for the “Gun and Hoses” softball tournament Saturday.
Members of each department along with friends and family enjoyed an afternoon of softball and followed by a barbecue.
Councilman Bill Allison was voice of the tournament with able assistance from Ryan Ryals adding the music and sound effects.
The second game of a doubleheader featured the fire and police departments going head to head.
It appeared the fire department players smoked the police.
