The three day of Maple Valley Days celebration began Friday, June 11, with the Maple Valley Creative Arts Council artists reception at the Lake Wilderness Lodge.

The reception featured entertainment by the Maple Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra and artists exhibits.

Saturday drew large numbers of people to Lake Wilderness Park for lawn mower races, climbing, carving, food and fun.

The activities, including live entertainment, continued through Sunday.
