Tahoma's Bri McKenny finished eighth on the vault in the state tournament Saturday.

Tahoma's Bri McKenny finished eighth on the vault in the state tournament Saturday.

Tahoma gymnast Bri McKenny finished eighth in the state tournament in the vault event Saturday at the Tacoma Dome.

McKenny scored 9.3 in the second day of competition in the 4A gymnastic state championship.

Britni Atwell from Heritage won the event with a score of 9.675.

McKenny’s placed 26th all around on the first day with a score of 27.225.
