Dana Parnello to fill vacant Maple Valley City Council position

The Maple Valley City Council unanimously voted for Dana Parnello to fill the vacant council position.

Parnello will be sworn in at the Feb. 22 meeting.

Mayor Noel Gerken called Parnello following the vote to tell him he was the new council member.

Parnello is currently the chair of the Planning Commission.

The council position became vacant after Laure Iddings resigned Jan. 1.
